To Catch the Uncatchable
To Catch the Uncatchable continues into its fourth week on TVB Jade at 9.35pm, Monday to Friday. Every Monday, we will publish the synopses of the week's episodes.
Episode 16 (August 9)
Tung discovers that Fok's real name is Chan Wai-keung and that he changed his name to forget the painful bereavement of his wife and son.
Tung asks Lei to check on Fok and demands that But protect Fok.
Fok takes But to see his mother-in-law and, all of a sudden, Fok says he wants to kill But for revenge. He holds But hostage on a rooftop where Lei bravely saves him. Fok manages to escape and kidnaps Wai instead.
Episode 17 (August 10)
It turns out that an armed robbery seven years ago destroyed Fok's happy family. SWAT teams were prepared to rescue the hostages, yet But ordered them to wait. Therefore, Fok wants revenge.
Tung believes Fok is a nice person by nature and wants to persuade him into surrendering. Suddenly, Jim rushes in and fights Fok. Jim gets shot in the midst of the chaos and is admitted to hospital. Wai is worried. Tung makes fun Wai, saying she should marry Jim for saving her life.
Episode 18 (August 11)
Tung goes to a fruit trade association to arrest suspect Cheung Chi-kin. Hoi gives him a hard time and Cheung escapes.
Tung tries to get But to give him his abalone and chicken congee so Wai can take it to Jim in the hospital.
Episode 19 (August 12)
Hoi hosts a feast and behaves strangely. Tei is worried about Hoi and goes to see him, only to discover that ...
To Catch the Uncatchable will take a break on August 13 due to the broadcast of the Miss Hong Kong Pageant 2004. It will return on August 16.
