Experience will prove an asset at DBS Bank

One of Hong Kong's largest financial services groups, and the largest bank in Singapore, is inviting applications from experienced banking professionals.

DBS Bank (Hong Kong) is looking for credit approvers at vice-president level, senior relationship managers for sales and distribution in enterprise banking, and an assistant manager for loan document services.

The main duty of the vice-president for credit approval will be to review and analyse credit proposals submitted by relationship managers in enterprise banking. One vice-president, to be stationed in Shanghai, must be familiar with the regulatory requirements of the China Banking Regulatory Commission and the State Administration of Foreign Exchange. Candidates should have at least 10 years' experience.

The senior relationship managers for sales and distribution in enterprise banking will be responsible for soliciting business, preparing credit proposals and relationship management. Seven years of relevant experience is required for this position.

The main focus of the assistant manager of documentation services will be on preparing and checking the letters and types of credit lines offered to different customers.

'An asset would be a deep knowledge of the enterprise banking products and four to five years' related experience,' a bank spokeswoman said. 'The right candidate would be a person with energy, strong drive, [who is] flexible, dynamic, responsive to change and willing to grow with the bank.'
