Coca-Cola

There are aficionados for many things in life: wine, food and even Coca-Cola. For those who favour the latter, tucked away in the midst of Lockhart Road's manic bustle lies a haven for fans of the red-labelled fizzy beverage that has become the most popular soft drink in the world since its conception in 1886. Treasure House boasts more than 1,000 kinds of Coca-Cola products. The floor-to-ceiling display cases are home to vintage and one-off bottles, as well as various memorabilia.

There's a lot to take in, particularly if you don't know specifically what you're looking for. Prices range from the everyday (there is a fridge stocked with normal Coca-Cola bottles and cans) to the more extravagant. The most expensive can costs $6,888. Perhaps the fact it has been in space justifies the price. The oldest bottle on sale is from 1950 and costs $998. Owner Nelson Lai is a Coke fiend to say the least. As well as the collection housed in the shop, he also has a private stash of treasures and is more than happy to discuss his love for the brand. For a trip down memory lane (or a little sugar kick), visit 1/F, 523 Lockhart Road, Causeway Bay, tel: 2884 4559; www.cokefans.com.
