Harbour Records' public relations representative Alva Wong Yuen-sze says: 'It's almost 11/2 years since Harbour Records was established. We decided it would be nice to throw a Christmas party for all the people who support us and for those who appreciate what we do.

'The show will feature Harbour Records' bands and friends. This is the first time the entire Harbour Records roster will be on stage together.'

The shows will also include the eagerly awaited debut live performance of Human Head Horse, the latest project from singer Kwan King-chung.

Kwan was a member of 1990s indie heroes AMK and in Human Head Horse, he has teamed up with Alok Leung (of Alok's 31G fame). 'We play indie post-punk,' says Kwan. 'It's exciting music.'

The band may be more than two years old, but they have never performed live. 'This is our first public show ever as Human Head Horse, and it should be pretty special,' Kwan says. 'We wanted to do this gig to keep in touch with our fans at a special time of year. Being Christmas, the show will have an intimate atmosphere. With close friends and supporters, I think it will have more of a festival atmosphere.'

Fantastic Day drummer Simon Hui Kin-onn has his own thoughts on the benefits of Christmas shows. 'Playing to a crowd in a festive mood has its advantages - they're either too p***** to notice our bum notes, or too cheery to care.'

The Christmas cheer doesn't stop there - with each ticket comes a special compilation CD featuring material from the bands playing on both nights.
