I'm a little bit lazy but very generous. I'm  never jealous, but I don't like people lying to me. I'm not a hard worker because I find work boring.

Ingre is more a village than a city. It's very close to Orleans, the biggest city in our region. I think there are about 10,000 people in Ingre.

We have a bank, a grocery store, a church - everything that is found  in a typical French village.

We have lots of beautiful old castles and other ancient monuments. And we are very close to the Loire River - it's a beautiful place, very calm and peaceful. I like to walk by the river.

I love my region: we are surrounded by beautiful countryside, and yet very close to Paris - less than one hour on the TGV (France's high-speed train).

Since I live near forests, I can do many outdoor  activities, such as walking,  hiking, cycling, mountain biking, horse riding, kayaking, football and basketball.

Our region has the best weather in France, not too hot and not too cold, very green everywhere in spring and summer, and beautiful warm colours in autumn.

I'm in junior school, so we study a lot of subjects including French, English, biology, physics, maths, philosophy, Spanish, gym, geography and history.

We have school every day except Wednesday and Sunday, from 9am until 4pm. I find it quite boring, but I see my friends and that's great.

I speak French, but I can also speak a little bit of English and Spanish, and a sort of slang we call 'Franglais',  a mix of French and English.

I see my friends at least once a week out of school. We play music. We have a band and I'm the bass guitarist.

Sometimes we play football or other games and sports. We also like to play video games, and we have Tae Kwon Do twice a week.

My idol is Mike Dirnt, the bassist of Green Day  (my favourite band) - he's great!

My father Hughes works as a chemistry expert for the American company 3M. His workplace is  about 40 kilometres from our home. When he's at home, he spends a lot of time trying to repair our computer.

My mother Isabelle works at La Poste (the French post office). I have a little sister called Chloe who is seven years old and we often argue, as in every family.

My grandparents are very nice to me and I love them very much.

I have a cat called G{oelig}Gard (this is a very silly name for a cat but we like it).

One of my relatives runs a bed and breakfast place  for tourists from around the world. So I'm able to meet people from different cultures.

We eat breakfast and dinner at home every day and I eat lunch at the school canteen.

Anyone  visiting my country should spend some time in Paris, and also visit my region - the Loire Valley and visit the castles and old churches, go horse riding, take long walks, and enjoy our way of life.
