Hosting INXS will be new sensation for investment bankers

Published:

Updated:

For some reason, the organisers of this year's conference for brokerage firm CLSA have been much more secretive about their headline entertainment for the investors' forum. But CitySeen finally confirmed that rockers INXS (pictured) will be coming in next Wednesday to play the big corporate bash.

We had heard the rumour quite a while ago, but they wouldn't reveal the plans to us until this week.

Naturally, the gig is by invitation only for delegates and guests of the conference, but it should be interesting. INXS has some Hong Kong history: the late Michael Hutchence and drummer Jon Farriss lived here in the 1980s.

New singer J.D. Fortune was discovered through the reality show Rockstar: INXS.

Call your investment banker friends to get into this one.
