Police officer shoots himself in leg Danny Mok

A prospective VIP Protection Unit officer accidentally shot himself while trying out for a place on the elite police team. The 31-year-old policeman shot himself in the left leg during shooting practice at police headquarters in Admiralty at 3.15pm yesterday. He was in stable condition in hospital last night where he was being treated for injuries to his thigh and lower leg.
