Work on what you're interested in

How do you become successful? It's very important to find out where your interests lie. Everyone must have some kind of hobby.

If you like doing something, that means you spend more time on it. 'Practice makes perfect', so you can do it better than others and become successful.

There is an important relationship between success and interest.

As long as you are interested in something, you shouldn't give it up.

Gradually, you will do it well and become successful.

From the Editor

Thank you for your letter, Tat-mong. Not very many people are lucky enough to love everything about their job. If they had the choice, many people would prefer not to have to work for a living.

But some lucky people can't imagine not doing their job because they love it so much. Many of these people take on a job or open a business based on something they love doing in their spare time.

If you spend your working day doing something you really enjoy, you are more likely to want to spend time on it and work hard to get it right. And if you work hard, you are more likely to be successful.

Even though most people may not be lucky enough to find a job they adore, we can apply the principle to everything we do.

Identify the aspects of a situation or job that you do love, and work hard to perfect those aspects. This way, we can be successful and happy.
