A 30-year-old Frenchman was found dead in a hotel room in Tsim Sha Tsui yesterday. The man, surnamed Laret, was found on the floor when staff entered his room at about 3.30pm to see why he had failed to check out as scheduled. He was taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, where he was certified dead. Police said the man, who checked into the hotel on Thursday, had no apparent injuries or wounds on his body and the death was not suspicious.
