Special Hongkong Post stamps to mark Year of the Ox
A set of special stamps themed on the Year of the Ox and  associated products will be issued on January 17. Hongkong Post said the stamps would feature cattle against a silver background of hillside and pasture. Five-colour printing will be adopted for a three-dimensional effect. In addition, a sheet of two stamps featuring a rat and an ox embossed with real gold and silver  will come with a certificate of authenticity. The stamps will be displayed at the General Post Office and post offices in Tsim Sha Tsui, Tsuen Wan and Sha Tin from  Saturday.
3 hurt as minibus, truck collide
Three people were injured when a minibus and truck travelling in opposite directions collided on Ping Che Road  near the junction with Sha Tau Kok Road,  Sheung Shui. Two passengers on the minibus, including an eight-year-old girl, were injured. The driver of the minibus was also injured. The three were taken conscious to North District Hospital.
