'Spider-Man' saves autistic child in Thailand

A fireman in Thailand put on a Spider-Man outfit to convince a scared eight-year-old boy to come down from a dangerous ledge, the Associated Press reports.

The autistic child got frightened on his first day at school, escaped out the window and refused to come down. The boy's mother said her son was a fan of comic superheroes. Fireman Sonchai Yoosabai had a Spider-Man costume in his locker at work, which he uses to liven up school fire drills. He put it on and once the boy saw 'Spider-Man' holding a glass of juice, he threw himself into his arms.
