A court approved a warrant for police to bring to court a 13-year-old girl to testify against a teacher at a private school who allegedly indecently assaulted her. The girl, who grew up in an orphanage, did not appear yesterday for the trial of Chan Hang-lap, 30, at Kowloon City Court. The Modern College teacher is accused of indecently assaulting her at his home in December last year. The case has been adjourned to September 7. Chan was granted bail.
