The Lands Department is handling 15 applications for short-term waivers submitted by The Link Management regarding car parks in public housing estates, Secretary for Transport and Housing Eva Cheng told legislators yesterday. The Link needs waivers to rent parking spaces to non-residents, and in October it offered HK$7.15 million for unpaid waiver fees.
