Local beauty magazine More boasted an impressive turnout of star guests at its ninth annual Beauty Product Awards, held in the main hall of Ocean Terminal. With awards in 46 categories to hand out, tallied by votes from more than 64,000 subscribers, More enlisted the likes of model Marie Zhuge Ziqi, and singer-actors Gillian Chung Yan-tung and Andy Hui Chi-on as presenters.

There was no question that singer-actress Vivian Chow Wai-man (pictured) and old friend Hacken Lee Hak-kan were the most eagerly awaited stars at the ceremony. Organisers saved the best for last by asking Chow and Lee to present the grand prizes for readers' favourite brands in skincare and make-up.

Chow looked radiant in an asymmetrical floor-length gown, prompting fans to comment on her ability to keep her youthful looks after 25 years in show business. The singer incited further envy by discussing a 'training' regime ahead of her March 19-20 concert dates.

'I am ready to perform, I'm on fire,' Chow said. 'My beauty secret is to keep in touch with my inner child and stay happy, not to put pressure on myself and exercise like a maniac. The last time I went to the gym was five years ago.'

Lee, who has lately been taking it easy career-wise and enjoying fatherhood, wished Chow every success in her upcoming performance. He said that despite his relaxed schedule, he still had to work out at least once every five days - not years - to keep fit, unlike his genetically blessed friend.
