Joseph Franco
Joseph Franco is a Research Fellow with the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies' Centre of Excellence for National Security at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. He examines terrorist networks in maritime Southeast Asia and best practices in countering violent extremism, and believes in addressing non-ideological drivers of conflict. Joseph has organised international countering extremism and radicalisation workshops that brought together policymakers, practitioners, and academics. He regularly conducts field research in conflict-affected areas in Mindanao.
