Homosexuality is illegal in Malaysia, but the anonymous hosts of LGBT podcast Kunyit Squared believe Malaysian society is becoming more tolerant. They talk about the ‘pretty wild’ gay experience there and why they launched the show.

Malaysian slang, like any other, comes and goes quickly, so an Instagram page, MySlangBank was set up to document and act as an archive for the country’s unique urban language. So far there are 300 examples.

Inspired by real and personal stories of the band members, Malaysian rock band Spooky Wet Dreams have released their debut album full of satirical tracks that take aim at the country’s political system.
