Plastic greenery headwear trend grows in China
For better or worse, Chinese fashion is full of surprises. After the odd-looking "face-kini", face masks mostly worn by old Chinese women to prevent sun damage, there's a new trend sprouting up in China - plastic flowers on a clip attached to your head.
It began in mid-August on the streets of Beijing. A rose here.... a sprig of something there..... the more people started wearing them, the more fashionable they became. Celebrities also got in on it and started posting pictures of themselves with the plastic headwear.
6-year-old gives her divorced parents a lesson in life
A six-year-old girl's words of wisdom have gone viral after her mother uploaded a video of her teaching her divorced parents to be friends. The video was first posed by her mum on Facebook.
In the clip posted on YouTube, the little girl, Tiana, cited herself as an example and taught her mum to be nice and make things calm. "I want everyone to smile," she said.
World champion rides bike over slackline in the Alps
Cycling champion Kenny Belaey rides his bike across a slackline suspended between two rocks 112 metres high at an altitude of 2,700 metres in the French Alps. He and his bike fell from the slackline several times and he was seen to be frustrated at one point. After several attempts, he managed to ride across the slackline and burst into laughter.
