High on Hong Kong: Viator tours include a helicopter lap of the island
The adventure tour facilitator now offers 48 outings in and around Hong Kong, and many more worldwide
When it comes to good looks, few cities can rival Hong Kong. From a stroll along the Tsim Sha Tsui waterfront to a hike to a remote beach, its charms are manifold.
But how much time does it take to experience the best sights this city has to offer? Answer: about 15 minutes.
Adventure tour facilitator Viator, part of TripAdvisor, has expanded its offerings in Hong Kong to include a helicopter lap of the island, among other activities.
After lift-off from top of The Peninsula, in Tsim Sha Tsui, passengers are flown over the harbour for a bird’s-eye view of sky-rises before being whisked south towards the Dragon’s Back, Stanley, Ocean Park and myriad other scenes.
Viator’s 48 Hong Kong packages also include a Central and Sheung Wan food tour, dim sum cooking classes, jump-the-queue tickets for Disneyland, a walking tour to historical landmarks and a hike over Tai Mo Shan, with a “waterfall adventure” thrown in. There’s even a skip-the-line pub crawl for those who cannot organise their own alcohol-based shenanigans.
Going on holiday? Viator also allows you to book last-minute activities around the world. Want Elvis to officiate your Vegas wedding? Done. Robot karaoke in Tokyo? Check. A fighter-pilot course in San Diego? Go on, then. We’re not sure how the skip-the-line tour of the Vatican would fly with Him upstairs but, hey, you’re on holiday.
