Jai Anshul Ambani, the youngest son of India’s puritanical bankrupt business tycoon Anil Ambani, is a bit of an enigma. What does he enjoy doing in his free time? Is he religious? Read on to discover what makes this 24-young-old tick.

He is a devout Hindu

Jai Anshul, like his parents and older brother, is a devout Hindu. Every time he or someone in his family is faced with a big personal or business decision, the entire family travels to a Hindu temple to seek a blessing from the gods.

He loves music

One of Jai Ansul’s top hobbies is listening to music and the blues is reported to be his favourite genre. He even plays with an amateur band, although it’s highly unlikely he’ll make a career of it. His father is clearly expecting both Jai Anshul and his older brother Jai Anmol to become the eventual heirs to his business empire.

He is close with family

Jai Anshul is close to his cousins Akash, Anant and Isha, the children of Mukesh. They spend a great deal of time together, even though they have different interests. Anil and Mukesh’s business rivalry hasn’t stopped their children from attending each other’s birthday parties, going out to cricket matches and simply kicking back and enjoying life together.

What’s more, Jai Anshul is extremely close to his parents. In fact, he’s rarely photographed in public without them. When his dad Anil is in town, the entire family spends Sunday afternoon together.

He collects cars

Jai Anshul, like his older brother and cousins, enjoys collecting luxury cars. His collection includes a Mercedes GLK350, Lamborghini Gallardo, Rolls-Royce Phantom, Range Rover Vogue and Lexus SUV. Even so, he’s not often photographed driving around town on his own.

He collects aircraft

Not many young people in their twenties can say they collect aircraft as a hobby, but Jai Anshul can. He owns a Bombardier Global Express XRS, a Bell 412 helicopter, a Falcon 2000 and a Falcon 7X. Jai Anshul enjoys travelling but doesn’t relish being photographed in public, so it’s not hard to see how the aircraft could be put to good use.

He’s seriously smart

In this case, a silver spoon clearly didn’t breed a sloth – Jai Anshul is a talented young businessman who completed an international baccalaureate programme at the American School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in business management from the prestigious Stern School of Business at New York University.

He has worked both at Reliance Mutual Fund and Reliance Capital, receiving training from his father, older brother and other company managers. He’s certain to have a bright future as he gets older and finds his place in the business world.
