As the divorce proceedings between the Grammy Award winner and her estranged husband come to a close, what will happen to Adele’s London and Beverly Hills homes and her millions from royalties?

Songstress Adele and her estranged husband Simon Konecki will soon be officially divorced as they await a judge to sign off on their final split agreement. The former couple announced their separation in April 2019 and the singer filed for divorce five months later. This month, they finally reached a divorce settlement – almost two years after the split.

The details of their break-up will not be made public after a Los Angeles judge granted a privacy request. It is, however, believed that the couple are married in community of property, meaning all of their assets could be jointly split.

They reportedly hired mediators to assist in the division of assets. This means that Adele – who recently underwent a massive body transformation, dropping more than 45kg – will depart with a lot of cash. But the singer has always been nonchalant about money, previously saying money has never meant that much to her.

How rich is she?

As of 2020, Adele is estimated to be worth around US$190 million. The mammoth fortune comes from her music sales and tours. It’s believed that she earns US$112,500 a day from royalties alone.

Her last album, “25”, raked in the money and awards. She walked home with six Grammys and her “Hello” tour reportedly bagged US$192 million.
