Inside Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz’s ultra-modern luxury homes: they just sold their Phoenix, Arizona property for US$3.1 million but still own the stunning Razor House in California

- The Grammy Award-winning couple travelled less due to Covid-19, but Keys performed at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards while Beatz will lead a tribute to DMX
- They sold their Camelback Mountain home but still own the Razor House with its Pacific Ocean views, featured in Visa Black Card and Calvin Klein commercials
Fifteen-time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys and her producer-husband Swizz Beatz have taken advantage of the booming housing market and sold their modern Camelback Mountain holiday home in Phoenix, Arizona.

The home, with stunning views of Echo Canyon, Piestewa Peak, Mummy Mountain and the Phoenix city lights, sold in June for US$3.1 million.

The superstar couple are big fans of modern architecture, proven when they bought the Razor House in La Jolla, California, in 2019 for US$20.8 million – well down from the original listing price of around US$30 million.

The Razor House is an ultra-modern home with commanding views over the Pacific Ocean and has been used in Visa Black Card and Calvin Klein commercials.

The common denominator in the Keys-Beatz choice of homes is clearly for them to be extremely modern, with stunning long-range views. Though they loved their Phoenix getaway home, time restraints due to work obligations made it almost impossible to enjoy the property the way they had intended. Gated and located at the end of a cul-de-sac, the Phoenix house measures 7,050 sq ft with four bedrooms and six baths.
