After one year and four months, the long wait is over: Kim Ji-won, whose chemistry with Ji Chang-wook delighted fans in Lovestruck in the City, is back with another K-drama, My Liberation Notes.

The series follows three siblings who want to be liberated from the monotony of their exhausting, day-to-day lives. Their situation takes a dramatic turn when they meet a mysterious stranger named Mr Gu.

Kim Ji-won, Lee Min-ki and Lee El will portray the three siblings, Yeom Mi-jung, Yeom Chang-hee and Yeom Ki-jung, respectively.

However, they’re not the only ones to look out for. They will be joined by rising actor Son Sukku, playing the role of Mr Gu.

In 2018, South Korean daily newspaper Ilgan Sports broke the news that Son and his fellow Sense8 co-star Bae Doona were dating. The report claimed their relationship deepened when Bae gave acting tips to the actor. Son would often visit the Dongbinggo-dong district in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, where Bae lives. Both denied the rumours.

When he was in Canada, he decided to bring his ex-girlfriend to an island restaurant on Valentine’s Day and took a boat to get there. But by the time they arrived, the island was dark, so they had to leave. In order to prevent similar situations, he now tries to plan his dates in advance.
