From head to toe, Wang always selects top-notch houses, showing fine tastes in fashion. Since he was 20 years old, Wang has worn gold Rolexes and his envious collection has increased over the years, with a range of luxury watches. Here’s a peek inside his enviable collection:

An avid fan of Rolex, Wang’s most valuable model from the Swiss luxury watchmaker is a vintage Paul Newman Dayton 6263 that he showed off when he took part in TV variety show Everyday Upward in 2018, when he was only 20.

Named after the late Hollywood star Paul Newman, the timepiece embraces its typical “Paul Newman dial”, also called “Exotic” dial by Rolex. It also has special details, like the different design of the numerals, and letter A and H in Daytona and Cosmograph, respectively, compared to other Daytona watches, per The Watch Club.

Moreover, the 6263 is famous for its contrast in colour, either black with white sub-dials, or white with black totalisers. A 6263 was sold for a record price of over US$5.4 million at an auction in 2020, according to Phillips.

2. Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116508

Wang owns a series of Rolex Day-Date models, including a classic 36 model 128238 with the smoky green dial which is known as the most popular Day-Date today.

The oyster perpetual watch, made of 18k yellow gold, has a green ombre dial encrusted with baguette-cut diamond for the hour markers, fluted bezel and a President bracelet with semicircular three piece links, per Rolex. It was created in 1956 for the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Day-Date.

In addition to the Day-Date, Wang also has some Submariners, Rolex’s iconic diver’s watch. Launched in 1953, the Submariner is the first wristwatch to be waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (now 300 metres), and is ideal for water sports fans.

Wang’s blue-and-gold piece, known as model 126613LB, is obviously catchy for its exotic colour. Combining Oystersteel and yellow gold, it sports a royal blue dial with luminescent display and hour markers in triangle, circle, rectangle shapes, and large hour and minute hands to prevent confusion when reading underwater. It also has a Cerachrom rotatable bezel, a key functionality of the watch. Its 60-minute graduations allow a diver to accurately and safely monitor diving time and decompression stops. It costs nearly US$17,500, per Rolex.

5. Patek Philippe Nautilus 5711

Wang appeared in the collections of Chanel before he became ambassador for the fashion house in 2021, per iNews. And of course, his watch collection must include Chanel’s symbolic J12 – not one but three, in white (H5700), black (H5697), and “panda” (Paradoxe).

Launched in 1999 by Chanel’s designer Jacques Hélleu, a fan of yacht racing, the J12 was inspired by the J-class 12 meter vessel of the sport. All Wang’s three watches feature the typical lacquered round dials of the J12 with Arabic numerals in a highly resistant ceramic and steel case and bracelet with flexible triple-folding clasp.
