Where to eat in Hong Kong this April: new restaurants with takeaway and delivery options
As the city hunkers down and commits itself to social distancing, we bring you the newest restaurants offering takeaway menus or home delivery. And for those who want to support this city’s restaurants, there are several treats to try, too.
Royal Garden eshop
Sabatini Ristorante Italiano and Dong Lai Shun has offerings at the hotel’s eshop, and you can now order scrumptious meals from these award-winning restaurants. The four-course meal at Sabatini includes quintessential Italian delicacies such as parma ham and melon and the signature linguine with scampi for the discount price of HK$648 per person. For those craving some spice in their life, a seven-course meal is also available for ordering from Dong Lai Shun for HK$558.90 per person, too.
Le Bistro Winebeast
The city’s number one spot for great wine and food at very affordable prices has started takeaway lunchboxes for HK$138. Fans of the duck confit, lamb shank or pork tenderloin are in for a treat.
JIA everywhere
The dining group behind names such as Duddell’s, Chachawan, Mono, Louise and more has started a new series of gourmet meal box deliveries. Guests can place an order for single meals in advance via WhatsApp and pick up their meal boxes directly at the restaurant. You will have to order HK$800 worth of deliciousness at a single restaurant to get delivery on Hong Kong Island. Additional charges apply to other areas.
La Rambla
One of Hong Kong’s top Spanish institutions has launched a special lunch takeaway menu for those who prefer to stay at home or in the office. The Executive Lunch Takeaway is available on weekdays for both delivery and pickup at La Rambla by Catalunya. Mouth-watering options include Rioja-style potatoes and clams, and grilled octopus creamy rice with mangetouts. Delivery is only for IFC offices and malls and free for orders over HK$1,000.
New to Deliveroo
Bedu and Jalan
Two of Meraki Hospitality Group’s most exciting restaurants have joined the ranks of Deliveroo. Tasty curries from Jalan and creamy hummus from Bedu is only a touch of an app away.
Chilli Fagara
Fiery, hot noodles are now available for delivery from the spice masters at Chilli Fagara. Sink your teeth into items such as noodles with pork and vegetable dumplings in house-made Sichuan chilli sauce, mouthwatering chicken noodles in chilli sauce or the classic dan dan noodles, in the comfort of your own home.
Bayfare Social
Get gourmet cuisine from the exclusive Rosewood Hong Kong delivered to your door. Order the signature tapas, sandwiches and pasta from the casual dining restaurant and eat well while you’re working from home.
Kinship
Apart from the usual tasty treats you can order on Deliveroo, such as fried Brussels sprouts and pork belly, Kinship also has a new grab-n-go counter for those heading home or dropping by on the slopes of SoHo.

Fabulous prizes await those who keep their receipts of more than HK$2,500 each. Lunch menu at Meats
Meats has introduced its weekday lunch menu for Centralites to indulge in its protein-rich menu. For HK$148 you can get a wonderful four-course lunch which includes items such as chicken thighs Milanese and chickpea burger.

Easter buffet at The Place
For those who want to have their buffet and eat it too, the folks at Cordis Hong Kong have lovingly added additional sneeze guards around its food stations to ensure patrons can enjoy a good old-fashioned buffet at ease. Shackura drinks at Shake Shack
Has the news got you down? The gloomy weather sure doesn’t help. You can now brighten up your day with a touch of pink at Shake Shack with its new seasonal drinks. The Shackura Shake is a vanilla frozen custard blend with cherry blossom, topped with whipped cream and pink chocolate curls. The Shackura Lemonade is a refreshing Shack-made lemonade blended with Morello cherry purée.
