At 28 years old, Jai Anmol Ambani is the eldest son of Indian business tycoon Anil Ambani, the nephew of Mukesh Ambani, and the grandson of Dhirubhai Ambani, who rose from a middle-class lifestyle to found Reliance Industries, become a billionaire and internationally acclaimed CEO. Not much is known about this shy, hard-working young man, but there are a few valuable morsels of information for interested fans.

He cares a lot about his family

Jai Anmol Ambani is close to his brother, Jai Anshul, and his cousins Akash, Anant and Isha. That’s admirable considering the fact that his father Anil and his uncle Mukesh haven’t always gotten along well and even wound up splitting the business assets left to them by their late father instead of running the family business together. Jai Anshul is also close to both his parents and his grandmother, Kokilaben Ambani.

He doesn’t like attention

Unlike many other celebrity children, Jai Anmol doesn’t like media attention. He’s rarely in the spotlight and clearly prefers working, studying and reading to public functions. The media can’t even figure out if he has a girlfriend, although it’s been rumoured that he’s dating a former classmate of Indian origin.

He’s studious

Like many wealthy families, Jai Anmol’s parents put a premium on education, but it doesn’t seem like they have to push him to study because he very much enjoys learning about the world around him, and chose to major in management, earning a BSc from the UK’s Warwick Business School.

He’s a hard worker

Jai Anmol likes travelling and meeting new people, but he also knows how to work hard. He invested in stocks at an early age, even though he certainly didn’t need the extra spending money. When he was 18 years old, he worked as an intern in his father’s company for two months. Upon graduation, he began working in various positions in Reliance Capital, successfully negotiating with Nippon Life to raise the company’s investment stake in Reliance Capital’s insurance division.

He collects cars and aircraft

Many members of the Ambani family enjoy collecting vehicles and Jai Anshul is no exception. He reportedly owns a Rolls-Royce Phantom, Lamborghini Gallardo, Mercedes-Benz S-class, Mercedes GLK 350, Range Rover Vogue, Toyota Fortuner and Lexus SUV. However, he never drives any of his fancy cars to work. He is also said to own a jet collection that includes a Bombardier Global Express XRS, Falcon 2000, Falcon 7 and Bell 412 helicopter.

While he certainly got a head start in life by being born into a wealthy family, Jai Anmol Ambani is taking the initiative to develop his own business skills and find his own path in life – a serious, sensible young man with a bright future.
