Is this the ultimate smart bed? The US$120,000 HiCan takes sleep and self-care to a new level with state-of-the-art tech and Italian artisanal design
What: HiCan smart bed
How much: From HK$930,000 (US$120,000)
The first Italian “smart bed” and the flagship model of Hi-Interiors, the HiCan has something for everyone in the new post-pandemic world.
For hypochondriacs, the HiCan can track your sleep and monitor the air quality, temperature, humidity, light and noise levels so that you can happily drift off to dream away in a cocoon of ultimate comfort.
For those of us that need a few moments to unwind first, ambient music and lighting, as well as a fragrance diffuser for your favourite essential oils, are prerequisites, and the HiCan has you covered here too. The bed even comes with a shoulder and foot massage option in case your nearest spa goes back into lockdown again. And for those who still don’t have an office to go back to on a regular basis, a fully-functional entertainment system won’t go amiss. A home theatre audio system is incorporated into the canopy, complete with a 4K HD projector and a motorised screen that starts at 70 inches.
Aside from state-of-the-art technology, the HiCan is all about Italian artisanal design and construction. Showcased at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (Milan Furniture Fair) in 2019, the smart bed is crafted with the statement modern canopy design, an adjustable bed base and motorised blinds.
Whether ordered in the US, European or California King size, the bed is constructed by Italian artisans using premium finishes selected by the client during the commission process.

Most notably, the selection of wood finishes are curated by architect and designer Piero Lissoni, who is recognised as one of the masters of contemporary design and a Red Dot Award winner.
