Cissy Wang, Janet Ma, Henry Tang join Harvey Nichols’ re-opening party

Cecilia Wang

The city was abuzz as its finest socialites and fashionistas flocked to Harvey Nichols’ re-opening party at The Landmark on September 28. At the fashion hub, guests were treated to five floors of fun: make-up experts shared tips on new beauty and skincare trends, two floors were overtaken by a mini fashion show, while a “magic mirror” used advanced technology to help create bespoke looks by analysing facial features. A personalised grooming service and a whisky bar were also available.

Spotted at the party were Cissy Wang, Irene Wang, Nancy Wu, Janet Ma, Vincy Chan, Ruco Chan and even former chief secretary of Hong Kong Henry Tang and his wife.

Chic Chat with Cissy Wang

What is your secret to staying stylish?

I prefer to be comfortable. As long as I feel comfortable and confident, my style will show through. That’s my number one priority.

How do you balance work and family?

I’m still struggling actually, but I try my best to leave time for myself and definitely I have to learn to say ‘no’ to some things.

What are you looking forward to the most at Harvey Nichols?

I’m excited to see all the new rooms and decorations. I heard that they’re quite colourful as well.
