Disney + hit the jackpot recently with its supernatural K-drama series Moving, which released in August. The show was a major boost to the streaming platform’s subscriptions, per Kdrama Stars. It’s been dubbed a South Korean take on the hit American series Heroes and centres on a group with superpowers struggling to come to terms with their unique gifts.

One of Moving’s breakout stars is actress Han Hyo-joo, who plays Lee Mi-hyun in the series, who has superhuman senses. The former teenage beauty queen and model-turned-actress debuted on screen in 2003 in the sitcom Nonstop 5 and has had several notable roles over the years, including in the 2010 film Dong Yi, which earned her a best actress award at the 47th Baeksang Arts Awards.

Fans worldwide are hanging on the edge of their seat as they binge-watch Moving. Judging by the success of the series, Han is likely to see her four-plus million Instagram fans grow to become a more international following.

Unsurprisingly, with over 4.5 million followers on Instagram, she has also attracted the attention of international luxury fashion and jewellery brands looking to engage with her fan base.

It’s not hard to understand why these brands love the star – the former model clearly has a passion for fashion. She leans towards classic designs and has a penchant for quiet luxury.

Most recently, she appeared at a Ferragamo event dressed in the Italian brand’s latest grey oversized suit paired with the Hug Bag. She wore minimal make-up, which tends to be her choice for campaigns, events and when off duty.

She modelled for a Theory campaign in that same stripped-down make-up look, which paired well with the brand’s take on minimal, elevated essentials.

And even when Han is glammed up, she prefers to let her natural beauty shine through – she paired one of the brand’s famous Bird brooches with a black blazer dress while attending a Tiffany & Co. event in Tokyo.

Though she seems to prefer timeless, clean silhouettes, she’s not afraid of looks that are a bit bolder, either. The actress drew on her modelling background for a Louis Vuitton photo shoot, wearing shiny leather pants and a bold gold chain necklace, among other looks.

When not glammed up for events or posing for magazine covers, she likes to let loose more casually with ripped denim shorts and T-shirts paired with a baseball cap and trainers.
