In short, it’s a cafe in a glasshouse, but Instagram-worthy points aside, the menu is sure to delight with a good mix of Asian and Western dishes as well as desserts.

2. Catcher in the Rye Cafe
The new kid on the Seksyen 17 block comes from the same minds as Taman Desa’s Wild Sheep Chase.
Its neutral-toned interior, featuring an abundance of natural light and leafy elements, is exactly the kind of cafe where you can unwind.
The menu features a wide variety of comfort foods, desserts – and good coffee.

3. Cureé
This cafe is worth exploring for two good reasons: Hokkaido-inspired soup curries for the soul and a Instagram-worthy interior you won’t want to leave.
It also has a few Japanese fusion breakfast items such as Japanese okonomiyaki (savoury pancake) waffles and a mashed avocado toast.

Vintage 1988 which was originally an accessories brand, recently branched out to open a cosy cafe on Jalan Sultan, specialising in coffee and desserts.

5. Road to Emmaus
Subang locals will probably have passed by this hidden gem, which is still relatively new.
It’s a real community cafe that is great as a place to catch-up for a quiet, intimate gathering.
It offers a humble menu of coffee, tea, kombucha (sweetened black or green tea), sandwiches and cakes.
