Services slowly resuming after storm warnings cancelled
Services in Hong Kong are slowly resuming after the Observatory cancelled all tropical cyclone signals at 10.25am.
The Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing announced that trading in the securities and derivatives markets would resume from 1pm. It said that when the securities market resumed trading, there would be no pre-opening session. For futures contracts to which the pre-opening session normally applies, the pre-opening session will begin half an hour before trading resumes.
The Marine Department also announced that the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal in Sheung Wan has been reopened.
Services for Star Ferry, MTR and KMB are now running as normal, while the China Ferry Terminal in Tsim Sha Tsui has already been re-opened.

Chu Kong Passenger Transport also announced that its ferries from Hong Kong to mainland destinations would gradually resume after 1.30pm, while its ferries from mainland cities to Hong Kong would gradually resume after 1.20pm.
Services for First Ferry will resume gradually, depending on the route. Its Central-Cheung Chau route will resume at 11.15am while its Central-Mui Wo route at 11.30am. Inter Islands routes will resume gradually with the earliest being the Cheung Chau-Mui Wo route at 2.50pm. The Kowloon City-Hung Hom-North Point route will resume services at 11.05pm.
Separately, the Hospital Authority said that, as of 9.30am, a total of 17 people have sought medical treatment at the accident and emergency departments at public hospitals. This includes 12 men and five women, aged between 29 and 73. Nine have been discharged after treatment.
The Airport Authority announced that, as of 9.30pm, 119 arrival flights and 110 departure flights have been delayed. In addition, 127 arrival flights and 128 departure flights have been cancelled.
The Drainage Services Department received two reports of flooding as of 9.30am – one at Tuen Mun and another in Sham Shui Po. No reports of landslide have been received.
A total of 131 reports of fallen trees have been received by the 1823 Government Call Centre.
The Home Affairs Department has opened 28 temporary shelters, and 281 people have sought refuge.
Classes at all morning and full-day schools will remain suspended today. However classes at afternoon primary and secondary schools, as well as all classes at evening schools will resume.
The Immigration Department announced that services at the Immigration Headquarters, Registration of Persons Offices, and Births, Deaths and Marriage Registries would resume at 11.20am.
The Department of Health said that Methadone Clinics would open at normal operating hours while all other department clinics would resume normal services at 12.20pm.
The Judiciary said all hearings of the courts and tribunals would resume this afternoon. It also said that all offices and registries for the courts and tribunals would be opened at 11.20am. Those who are due to attend court hearings this morning, including the jurors, should do so at 2.30pm.
Those summoned for jury empanelment at the High Court this morning are not required to attend court until further notice in writing. However, for those who have been summoned for jury empanelment in the Coroner's Court this morning are required to appear in court at 2.30pm today.
