Hong Kong police have arrested a 32-year-old fashion designer on suspicion of indecently assaulting a teenage girl after luring her to a Kwai Chung flat for what she was told was a free photo shoot.
The victim, an 18-year old student, got to know the man via social media before he offered to take her photos, according to the force. He reportedly told her he worked as a photographer.
Police said the pair agreed to meet on Saturday in a flat in an industrial building on Kwai Cheong Road in Kwai Chung, where the alleged assault took place. The flat was used as a studio.
A police source said that during the photo shoot, the teen was allegedly hugged and molested multiple times.
Detectives launched an investigation after the girl filed a complaint on Sunday, and police arrested the suspect at his public housing flat in Sham Shui Po at about 7pm on Monday.

Officers are now investigating if other potential victims were lured into the same situation.
As of midday on Tuesday, the man was still being held for questioning and had not been charged.
Police have appealed to any other victims to come forward and contact officers at 3661 2975.
In Hong Kong, the offence of indecent assault, which covers various forms of molestation, carries a maximum penalty of 10 years in jail under the Crimes Ordinance.
According to official statistics, police handled 483 reports of indecent assault in the first six months of this year, up 68.9 per cent from 286 cases in the same period last year.
In March, a university student was arrested on suspicion of indecently assaulting an 18-year-old girl in a Kwai Chung park, following a purported “ritual” to improve her luck that involved her drinking two bottles of rice wine.

The 20-year-old man approached the victim on the street on March 11, claiming he was doing academic research and asked her to fill out questionnaires. During the conversation, he claimed he could help her get rid of bad luck by performing a ritual and she then gave him her mobile phone number.
On March 14, the pair met and went to Central Kwai Chung Park, and as instructed, she drank two bottles of Chinese rice wine as part of the “ceremony” and passed out. When she woke up hours later, she found the man had gone and her clothes were dishevelled. Police arrested the suspect the following day.
In May, police arrested a dim sum restaurant worker on suspicion of molesting at least 10 teenage schoolgirls over a two-day period in Sau Mau Ping. The 22-year-old man was accused of preying on girls in school uniforms at two public housing estates in the district and touching his victims on the thigh or elsewhere before fleeing. Police identified him after checking security camera footage.
