Race Six: (507) - AKEED MOFEED HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400Meters
CALIFORNIA JOY lost ground when crowded for room on jumping between STARLIGHT and NEW ASIA SUNRISE, both of which shifted ground.
WHAT ELSE BUT YOU began awkwardly and lost ground.
From a wide barrier, SIMPLY INVINCIBLE was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.
When being steadied to obtain a position with cover from a wide barrier, LIMITLESS proved very difficult to settle and got its head up on a number of occasions.
LIMITLESS was then left racing wide and without cover after the 1100 Metres.
MIDNIGHT RATTLER travelled keenly in the early stages when being steadied to obtain cover.
ALMABABY lay out rounding the Home Turn.
Approaching the 300 Metres, RACING SUPERNOVA was shifted to the outside of APOLLO'S CHOICE to obtain clear running.
A veterinary inspection of LINE SEEKER immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
A veterinary inspection of LIMITLESS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings, however, the horse was unable to be scoped due to being fractious.
WHAT ELSE BUT YOU PEOPLE'S KNIGHT and RACING SUPERNOVA were sent for sampling.

People's Knight just clung on after working to the lead 200m out following a box-seat run to build on back-to-back placings on the dirt. He'll likely find it harder following a penalty. Racing Supernova ran on steadily after switching out of traffic for a clear run at the 250m following a midfield run to make it close on the wire. He's always a chance over this trip. Early favourite Apollo's Choice grudgingly gave way after chasing the leader Almababy one off the fence. It was another honest effort. Well-backed to jump the favourite What Else But You flashed home to grab fourth after travelling third from the rear following a slow break. It was a huge effort in his first run since June and he's one to keep safe when next stepping out over a mile or 1,800m. New Asia Sunrise only plodded following a midfield run. He just can't seem to put it all together this campaign and the big weight doesn't help.
