World Record came with a sizzling run down the outside after travelling second from the rear to blouse the odds-on favourite Superich in the shadows of the post for a sixth career win over this trip. Superich lost nothing in defeat after dashing nicely to hit the front 160m out travelling deep with cover in midfield. He remains a bright prospect going forward. Specked late, Circuit Glory kept on a distant third following a box-seat run with the claim well utilised. He's proving effective at both tracks this term. Regency Bo Bo had to work to sit outside the leader Handsome Bo Bo at the 900m, edged in front at the 300m. Easy Go Easy Win was getting going late from near the back. He's crying out for a longer trip. Handsome Bo Bo was stopping over the last 150m. He was quite up to the challenge at this level. Lean Perfection plodded following a prominent run. He didn't seem to enjoy the shifting ground. Sacred Ibis ran on without menacing from the back.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (208) - CHEVALIER PROPERTY INVESTMENT HANDICAP - Class 2 - 1400Meters

DRAGON GENERAL was withdrawn prior to Race 9 by order of the Stewards acting on veterinary advice (lame right fore).

Before being allowed to race again, DRAGON GENERAL will be subjected to an official veterinary examination.

LEAN PERFECTION shifted in at the start, resulting in MR GENUINE being hampered when taken in onto BOMBAY BLITZ.

This resulted in BOMBAY BLITZ being awkwardly placed outside the heels of KINGSFIELD which also shifted out after the start and causing BOMBAY BLITZ and MR GENUINE to lose ground.

From a wide barrier, WORLD RECORD was shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Despite being ridden along for some distance in the early stages, EASY GO EASY WIN failed to muster speed and approaching the 1300 Metres was awkwardly placed outside the heels of COBY BOY.

Passing the 1200 Metres, EASY GO EASY WIN was crowded for room between MR GENUINE and COBY BOY which got its head on the side and shifted in away from SUPERICH despite the efforts of its rider.

Passing the 900 Metres, SUPERICH and KINGSFIELD raced tight as KINGSFIELD improved to be racing outside LEAN PERFECTION.

This resulted in SUPERICH travelling wide and without cover throughout the race.

Passing the 500 Metres, MR GENUINE was awkwardly placed inside the heels of BOMBAY BLITZ.

After the race, K C Leung stated that SACRED IBIS did not travel well at any stage of the race and, in his opinion, did not handle the track conditions.

A veterinary inspection of TIME TO CELEBRATE and LEAN PERFECTION immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

A veterinary inspection of COBY BOY immediately following the race found that horse to have bled from both nostrils.

WORLD RECORD and SUPERICH were sent for sampling.

GENERAL:

1.

After the running of Race 8, the track classification was officially changed from "Good to Yielding??to "Yielding?? This change in the opinion of the Stewards should be recorded as being retrospective.

As a consequence of this, the official results will show Race 8 being run on a track rated "Yielding??

2.

Trainer K H Ting was fined the sum of $10,000 for breaching Stewards' Instruction 32 in that his stable strength currently exceeds the allowable number following the release of horses from quarantine into his stable on Saturday, 24 November 2018.

The release of these horses resulted in Mr Ting's allowable stable strength being exceeded by two horses.

Mr Ting was directed to ensure that his stable strength complies with the requirements by close of business on Monday, 26 November 2018.
