Mr So And So got up in the final few metres after being held up travelling box-seat until the 250m. The key was a better draw after going close in three earlier Sha Tin runs from awkward gates. Diamond Rhyme was out of trouble racing one-out, one-back this term and just missed after hitting the front 250m out. He'll be saluting shortly. Taking Aim defied a tough run racing handy from a wide gate to make it close on the wire as the favourite. He's come right and has the tools to add to a last-start win. In a blanket finish for fourth, newcomer Vincy got the bob down over Dances With Dragon and Home Run after being held up early straight following a midfield run on the fence. He'll come on for this run and will be better suited over a mile. Home Run were doing some nice work late from near the back. Both have been making progress in recent runs and they can pop up soon. Sun Touch faded 100m out after getting his own way in front. He's on his mark.

Racing Incident Report

Race Ten: (226) - SALISBURY HANDICAP - Class 3 - 1400Meters

When proceeding to the barriers, S de Sousa dismounted from MR SO AND SO when that horse was proving fractious.

VINCY was slow to begin.

GOD OF DRAGON and TAKING AIM began only fairly.

SUN TOUCH began awkwardly.

When being steadied to obtain a position with cover from a wide barrier, JOLLY HONOUR was crowded for room shortly after the start between PERFECT GLORY and AMAZING LUCK, both of which shifted ground.

In this incident, PERFECT GLORY became unbalanced when bumped on the hindquarters by JOLLY HONOUR.

After this, PERFECT GLORY, JOLLY HONOUR and AMAZING LUCK were all shifted across behind runners in the early stages.

Passing the 1100 Metres, SEVENTY SEVENTY commenced to travel keenly and shifted out after being awkwardly placed close to the heels of TAKING AIM which was being steadied in an attempt to obtain cover.

After the 1100 Metres, AMAZING LUCK commenced to travel keenly and was awkwardly placed behind JOLLY CONVERGENCE.

Making the turn at the 900 Metres, GOD OF DRAGON got its head on the side and shifted out towards the heels of TAKING AIM, resulting in GOD OF DRAGON losing ground.

HOME RUN, which was following GOD OF DRAGON, was steadied away from the heels of that horse in consequence.

After the 900 Metres, PERFECT GLORY got its head up when awkwardly placed behind SEVENTY SEVENTY.

After this, PERFECT GLORY was left racing wide and without cover.

MR SO AND SO lay out rounding the Home Turn and then was held up for clear running after the 400 Metres.

Approaching and passing the 300 Metres, RELENTLESS ME momentarily raced tight between DIAMOND RHYME and MR SO AND SO which shifted out to obtain clear running.

In the early part of the Straight, PERFECT GLORY got its head on the side and lay out and then passing the 200 Metres was shifted in abruptly away from the heels of SEVENTY SEVENTY.

After this, PERFECT GLORY continued to be awkwardly placed behind SEVENTY SEVENTY until near the 100 Metres.

VINCY was held up for a run approaching the 300 Metres and was shifted to the outside of DIAMOND RHYME passing the 300 Metres to obtain clear running.

A veterinary inspection of PERFECT GLORY, RELENTLESS ME and SEVENTY SEVENTY immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.

TAKING AIM, MR SO AND SO and DIAMOND RHYME were sent for sampling.
