Racing Incident Report
Race Seven: (727) - THE APPRENTICE JOCKEYS' SCHOOL 50TH ANNIVERSARY CUP - Class 3 - 1200Meters
TEXAS MOON was crowded for room on jumping between VICTORY SCHOLARS and REGENCY BO BO which shifted out.
REVE PARISIEN began awkwardly.
WAR WEAPON lost its left hind plate a short distance after the start.
WIND N GRASS was steadied in the early stages to obtain cover.
Making the turn after the 900 Metres, ADIOS commenced to travel keenly and got its head up for some distance.
REVE PARISIEN, which was following ADIOS, was awkwardly placed behind that horse passing the 800 Metres.
Near the 850 Metres, RED TITAN was awkwardly placed inside the heels of REVE PARISIEN.
REGENCY BO BO, which was following, got its head up in consequence when racing close to the heels of RED TITAN.
TEXAS MOON lay in under pressure in the Straight.
For the majority of the race, WAR WEAPON travelled wide and without cover.
A veterinary inspection of VICTORY SCHOLARS immediately following the race did not show any significant findings.
REVE PARISIEN, ACE ONE and WAR WEAPON were sent for sampling.

Well-backed Ace One shot clear 100m out after getting a lovely run in the box seat to ring up back-to-back wins. He's really come into his own now and can win again. War Weapon ran on nicely to grab second in the final few strides after a wide without cover trip in midfield. He had been around the mark in his past two starts and was stepping out off a rating low. Super Fortune grudgingly gave way turning the final bend a length on top leading from the widest draw. He continues to race well despite top weight following a win. Favourite Reve Parisien stayed on okay after a prominent run one off the fence. It was another honest effort. Adios weakened over the last 100m after chasing Super Fortune one off the fence. A change in tactics and switch to Sha Tin backfired after a closing second on debut over the Valley 1,200m. Red Titan was doing his best work late after a midfield run. He was second-up off a long break and seems to want a further trip. Wind N Grass made some ground late without menacing after a wide run towards the rear. He's the type that can bob up at any time.
