Yes, Harry, we have plenty of beaches in Hong Kong, glad you're practising your backstroke

The live music gods have certainly been smiling on Hong Kong recently, with the announcements of Ed Sheeran and Ariana Grande's concerts later this year. And now it's time for an unlikely mix of fans to get excited about the same show: Directioners and rock lovers rejoice, as Harry Styles has announced he will be playing the 852 - although you'll have to wait until May 2018!

It's not yet clear whether 1D's pretty boy will be hosting his (former? Are they still on hiatus?) bandmates, but either way, given the excellent reception his solo album is getting, from pop lovers and indie fans alike, next May 5 is sure to be an incredible night.

While we wait to find out how we can get our paws on tickets, here's a reminder of how good a singer Mr Styles is, even when he's just singing along to old songs on the radio.
