Lead single Like a G6 is a solid dance number that held top spots in charts across the world. Catchy and heavily synthesised, it's hard not to dance along to the simple chorus.
The boys from LA hold their own in the hip-hop scene with rapid rapping and unexpectedly harmonious choruses. They prove they can sing, whether crooning over pulsing beats in She Owns the Night, or matching the soothing synthesisers in Fighting for Air.
Guest artists add variety, like Keri Hilson on Don't Look Now, or Snoop Dogg (If I Was You). It's also a nice change when the album slows down for the ballad Rocketeer, which features lead singer of OneRepublic, Ryan Tedder.
As with most dance albums, the lyrics of Free Wired lack depth - tracks deal with the typical club scenes.
The tunes may begin to get repetitive, but perhaps depth is not needed - there are enough catchy rhythms and high-energy beats on this album to get partygoers dancing.
