Imagine living on the high seas aboard a luxury cruise liner as it journeys across the globe. How about attending Seven Seas High and chilling on deck with your closest friends. Now that would be a "sweet life".

Climb aboard the SS Tipton and join twins, Cody and Zack (twins and tween idols, Dylan and Cole Sprouse, respectively), and the gang for another fun and drama-filled season of The Suite Life on Deck.

Season three of the show promises to be as memorable as any of the previous ones. The SS Tipton will navigate to exotic destinations including Antarctica, Monte Carlo and Japan. Along the way, the gang experiences the highs and lows of teenage life.

The Suite Life on Deck ("suite," as in "sweet") is a spin-off sequel to the original Disney Channel sitcom The Suite Life of Zack & Cody. Together, the series make up Disney's longest running sitcom.

The Sprouse Bros may play the lead characters, but the show would be nothing without the two supporting actresses. Rising star Brenda Song plays the role of spoiled hotel heiress London Tipton. "I love London," Song has said. "I love literally stepping into her shoes every single day. I miss her when I am not playing her."

Debby Ryan made her television debut on the show, playing Bailey Pickett, a sweet Southerner and London's roommate. She seems thrilled to be working with Song, saying "[She] is adorable and I love her. I always watched her movies and stuff. I grew up watching her... I actually found an old journal where I said Brenda Song is my favourite actress. She is kind of like a big sis figure [to me]."

Song spent her teenage years playing characters in Disney films and series, garnering a huge fan base. Most recently, she appeared in feature film The Social Network and has been dubbed the "Queen of Disney" by CosmoGirl magazine.

Since The Suite Life of Zack & Cody began in 2005, it has proved incredibly popular. The first series is set in The Tipton Hotel, a five-star establishment owned by London's father, Wilfred. Wilfred, in fact, is a running joke on the show because his face is never revealed: we only ever catch glimpses of his hands and hear his voice.

After three highly popular seasons, producers felt it was time for a change in setting. So they decided to produce a spin-off set aboard the SS Tipton, a gigantic cruise liner owned by the Tiptons. The show dropped a subtle clue about the setting of the sequel, though: the second to last episode of The Suite Life took place on the SS Tipton.

"We're actually on the same stage and the same set as ," Song, 22, said. "We did [our] premier on the Disney Cruise, which was really, really, cool."

Riding on the series' popularity, Disney announced in September the forthcoming film adaptation of the show, The Suite Life Movie, with the Sprouse twins, Song and Ryan all reprising their hit roles. The film is scheduled for release on the Disney Channel later this year.

The Suite Life on Deck, Season Three, starts on Disney Channel in Hong Kong on January 28, 7pm
