1. Bang Bang 70s
This is the coolest, most hip vintage shop there is. Whether you’re after a minibus “Bus Full” sign from the 70s, or a precious antique China doll, Bang Bang has it. For all things antique, this shop has the bits and pieces to start building or expanding your unique Hong Kong retro collection.

2. Dingcut
Although it was quite the seven storey walk up, Dingcut really takes you back to the 60s with its impressive treasure trove. Although this is currently a hair salon, this vintage destination houses a lot of furniture, and also sells a few classic pieces of memorabilia from decades past. We even bought back our own piece of Young Post history in the shape of this bag.

3 Microwave
Microwave plays host to a tonne of both new and vintage clothing for all you hipsters out there. All their garments are extravagant pieces, so you are practically guaranteed street style photographers will want to snap your every move. We love how the clothes are wearable for the modern age, with a vintage, grown-up twist.
Hungry for some vintage? Head to this hidden gem in Tai Hang. The cute 1960s bike outside the store gives it away.

4 Midwest Vintage
The name, Midwest Vintage, speaks for itself, with the biggest collection of tie-dye we have ever seen. The racks are stacked with denim jackets pinned with all sorts of jewellery, and they’re certainly bringing back the swinging 60s with the amount of camo attire that’s for sale! Check it out and see for yourself how yesteryear’s fashion is playing such a huge role in this generation’s OOTD (outfit of the day).

5 Select-18
This is your go-to shop for classic oldies. Fancy buying the classic Coca-Cola bottle from the 70s, a Donald Duck porcelain figure, or even a vintage telephone (yeah you know the one; a clunky black object with a long cord and a big rotary dial)? If so, this is the perfect place for you. While you are here, treat yourself to some statement gold jewellery – hey, gold’s value only ever increases, right?
