The annual gala raised nearly HK$2.5 million.

On February 7, French International School held its fourth annual gala dinner at the Aberdeen Marina Club. It attracted more than 370 French and international guests, including parents, school members and friends.

During the event, the school raised a new record of nearly HK$2.5 million towards its development fund. This will be used for future school expansion projects.

"The theme of this year's gala dinner - 'Raising Free Inspired Spirits' - represents the spirit in which we want to raise our children," said Lilas Bernheim, Deputy Consul General of France in Hong Kong, in her speech. "We want them to be tomorrow's global citizens."

Headmaster Christian Soulard added: "Tonight is a true reflection of the sense of community that is at the heart of the FIS."

There was a silent auction, and inside the ballroom, guests were treated to a delicious dinner with champagne and fine wines. Later on, the crowd enjoyed a series of musical performances by talented students. Creative videos about the school were also shown.

The evening ended on a high note, with guests packing the dance floor to round off what was a great night.
