My name is Zulia Hung Mitchell, and I am Hong Kongs only female left-handed ice hockey goalie - at your service.

You might have seen and read about me in Young Post. Right now, I am in the United States. My father and I drove from Boston, Illinois to New York City over the past week. Tomorrow, we will head to Washington, DC and then to Chicago.

Over the summer, I will be using this column to give you an insight into the world of a young teenage girl struggling to establish herself in a sport that she passionately loves.

It will be a peek into my adventures here in America to establish myself as an ice hockey goalie, and to gain entry into university as an ice hockey goalie on a women's Division I or II ice hockeyteam.

In Chicago, I will participate in a girls-only ice hockey training camp with Digit Murphy, the number one university womens ice hockey coach in America. Then, I will head to the North American Hockey Academy in Stowe, Vermont, for a girls-only ice hockey goalie clinic.

Afterwards, I will have two weeks in a girls-only ice hockey goalie clinic run by Joe Bertagna, a former Chicago Bruins goalie and an Olympic ice hockey goalie coach. In the last week of this month, I will be in Canada, participating in an ice hockey goalie clinic with the China national womens 2010 Winter Olympics ice hockey teams goalie coach.
