Which comic character would you want as your principal?

I really wish Martian Manhunter was my principal. He has some unique skills, including eidetic memory (the ability to remember things in exact detail) and X-ray vision. Apart from being an awesome principal, he would also be a great physics teacher. With his flying and shape-shifting abilities, he probably has a very good understanding of the subject. So it’s got to be Martian Manhunter.

Tony Stark is rich, smart and busy – the perfect principal. First, he could use his immense wealth to provide free education for all his students. Second, like his famous red and gold suit, he can develop new technology that students can use. Lastly, Stark’s too busy saving the world to actually be a principal, so he’d just hire staff to do the paperwork for him – what a laid-back and efficient principal!

Why would anyone not choose Iron Man (aka Tony Stark) as their principal? He is easily the most tech-savvy among comic book superheroes, with a suit that is the envy of all his rivals. As the head of school, he can implement different kinds of technology in the classroom and become the coolest person on campus. Iron Man is a versatile character who has saved the world many times, and he can be just as successful in a school environment.

Having Spider-Man as my principal would be so cool! His ability to make mistakes and learn from them is something that other superheroes don’t have. They are “perfect”, unlike Spider-Man, who is more like a human and can get things wrong. This is an important quality for a principal to have, because without it, he wouldn’t understand a student’s bad behaviour and know how to show them what’s right and wrong. Spider-Man is a role model and I would love to learn his moves!

Old Master Q would probably be the most suitable comic book character to be my principal. Though he always wears traditional Chinese clothes and he is way too old to be a principal, he will bring humour to the school, a place known for its seriousness.

I wish my principal was Superman. He has a lot of special powers so he could let us have candies and chocolates by setting up a sweets factory in school. I wish my teachers had superpowers, too, because then they could “plant” knowledge inside our brains and we could play video games all day. It would be great fun, wouldn’t it?

My principal would be there in no time – he’s The Flash. He would be the perfect principal because he is very intelligent and would do his best for his students. His superhuman speeds could prove to be very useful in a stressful job. His students can also learn from his unique life experiences.

Hulk would be a great principal. Dr Bruce Banner leads a difficult life trapped between the soft-spoken scientist and the uncontrollable green monster powered by rage. This is the perfect combination for a school principal. For example, when students misbehave, Hulk can come out of his shell to scold them; when they should be rewarded, he can do the opposite. In addition, unlike other comic book characters, Hulk is an educated person.
