The Contestants

Which answer do you like BEST? Vote below.

This round we asked: What is your biggest concern at the moment?

Contestant 1

Don't judge, but it's nail polish fashions.

Did you know that, just like with plants and clothes, nail polish colours have seasons, too? I attended a free workshop, where the chatty nail artist told me that "this season's trending nail polish colours are the 50 shades of blue".

There are 50 shades of blue? Apparently so. Dining Al Frisco, Suzi Says Feng Shui, and Keeping Suzi At Bay are all blue in nail-polish speak. It's like the industry's got you covered with a different blue for each day of autumn.

And yet I've only got one shade - Can't Find My Czech Book blue ...

Contestant 2

My broken glasses are currently a bigger concern than my grades.

They were accidentally snapped in two during my last PE lesson. I am short-sighted, and right now, I have no idea how to carry on with my life. I've taped the flimsy frames back together, but it's not the same.

I feel strange when wearing these hotchpotch spectacles - the world seems fuzzy and I feel partially crippled.

Why can't I be like Harry Potter and utter "Oculus Reparo" to fix them? I feel helpless, and my lack of magic skills has intensified my sadness.

Contestant 3

My biggest worry is climate change.

The weather affects us in many ways, as global warming takes hold. Here in Hong Kong, for example, the weather is hotter than usual for this time of the year. And what about those super-typhoons this autumn? Thousands of people died when typhoon Haiyan hit the Philippines last week. The natural disasters, the hot weather and rainy days have made me very sad.

To make matters worse, I can't wear the latest winter fashions, all because of Hong Kong's warm autumn caused by the greenhouse effect.

How could I not be concerned about an issue that affects our lives so much?
