"My Day out in Hong Kong with Shawn Mendes" by Valerie Yung

If I could go out with Shawn Mendes, I would like to bring him to, the one and only, Madam Tussaud’s of Hong Kong. Located at the Peak, bringing a celebrity to a wax museum of, of course, celebrities would be a hilarious experience. Firstly, and most importantly, I would hug Shawn for a very long time, and take countless selfies to post on Instagram (and gets lots of likes!). After that, we would set up an exclusive room for a Shawn Mendes “wax figure” right before the wax museum opens. And then, Shawn would pretend to be a wax figure, and I would be in a secret corner, filming. As guests enter the Shawn Mendes room, the Madam Tussaud’s staff would help them take a photograph with the Shawn Mendes “wax figure”. As the guests are looking at the camera, Shawn would change his position, whether it would be a funny face or doing the victory sign. As the guests sense movement of the “wax figure”, Shawn would suddenly shout and frighten the guests- which would be hilarious! After that, fans would be overjoyed (like me) of meeting the one and only singer-songwriter of my favourite song, Treat You Better. Their funny reactions would be caught on tape, and possibly released on YouTube. Remember- no one except Shawn and I would know that he would be at Madam Tussaud’s that day, and you would be super lucky if you were at Madam Tussaud’s that day! If there is enough time, I would request Shawn to perform a mini acoustic concert to everyone, which would be amazing. I have never heard or seen him sing live (despite being a huge fan of him and his songs), so Shawn having a mini concert for only a small crowd and I would be spectacular, and I would feel very special.
