Household chores or training?

I would choose curling because I could practise while my mum is mopping the floor. Also, it’s one of the least physically demanding sports out there!

Pedalling to glory

Cycling. It’s such an exciting sport! I particularly enjoy how fast you can go. I would definitely try my best and strive for Hong Kong glory. Racing cyclist Sarah Lee Wai-sze is my role model. I would like to learn from her and have the opportunity to feel what she experienced during the Olympics.

An exhilarating ride

Skeleton. No, I don’t mean the bones. The skeleton is a Winter Olympics sport. It’s like a playground slide but on ice. You go head first on a sled, hitting 130km/h with only a helmet to protect you. Pretty extreme, amirite?

Masking my mistakes

Fencing. The mask means the audience wouldn’t recognise me if I made any mistakes during the competition!

Gliding through life

Figure skating. Every time I see someone skate, I am amazed by how graceful they are on the ice. It’s so inspiring!

Spring in my step

Trampolining. It’s so elegant. I can perform a range of acrobatic moves while bouncing up and down, such as turning somersaults and leaping high into the air like a bird. I also wouldn’t be too nervous because the performance at the competition doesn’t normally last too long.

Leung Fei, 16, Lung Kong WFSL Lau Wong Fat Secondary School

Elegant movements

Aerobics, because the actions are beautiful and you can amaze others with your elegance.

Rally the troops

Table tennis. I play very few sports, but I’m best at table tennis. At least, I’m better at it than other sports ...

Figuring out the balance

Figure skating, because it’s a beautiful sport that requires both technical skills and artistic presentation. Also, I want to meet my idol, Japanese figure skater Yuzuru Hanyu.

Kick-about with a legend

I would choose football because my friends and I play almost every weekend. I’d play on behalf of Hong Kong and I’d hopefully get to compete against my favourite player: Lionel Messi. It would be amazing if this dream came true.
