Are your leftovers filling your refrigerator so much that you need to hold your breath every time you open it? Introducing Clean Your Refrigerator Day, where you take a day off to finally clean your fridge!

As a vegetarian, I'd like to create a public holiday in which everyone has to become vegetarian for a day. People will cook only vegetarian meals, restaurants will only sell vegetarian dishes, and even cooking shows on TV will only feature vegetarian food! Not only will it give people a chance to try new vegetarian dishes, but animals will be safe from suffering, and the environment can have a break from all the greenhouse gases emitted into the atmosphere.

All students know that November is the month when teachers try to cram in all the exams before the winter holiday. Coffee (the blacker the better) becomes every student's best friend, the shining white knight against sleep. Each day at school is a weary battle as you sit for your tests, armed only with your pen and that squishy grey stuff in your head which might hopefully be useful. There should be a public holiday in November to serve as a truce in the midst of those academic battles and give the students a well-deserved rest.

I would love to have an Autumn Day! It'd start off with a mug of hot chocolate with marshmallows, and then we'll all have a walk in the park. Then we'll drink another mug of hot chocolate.

I love learning new ideas and discovering new opportunities online, but there are moments when I feel overwhelmed by all the information or am distracted by social media. At the moment, we are constantly exposed to the internet, so I think we would benefit if we spend a day unplugged.

Hongkongers, together with Singaporeans, are the most dissatisfied about the amount of exercise they get. I would like to create a healthy public holiday, where everyone (except gym staff) takes the day off from work to finally exercise, at least once a year.

November is the beginning of winter, and it should also be Hot Pot Day. We'll welcome winter by trying to stay warm by having delicious hot pots with friends and family.

Most people in Hong Kong don't get the recommended seven hours' sleep a day. So I think we need a Sleep Awareness Day to raise public awareness of sleeping and the bad things caused by too little sleep. We'll celebrate by sleeping the entire day.

I suggest a public holiday on September 28 to commemorate the Umbrella Movement. We'll celebrate by creating artworks at public spaces. It's important to remember the tremendous creativity and spirit we have cultivated in the past month.
