1) Give the run-around

I would pretend to be a cat and make a noise. I think the teacher would be nervous and scared after hearing a "meow". They'd naturally run away. That's how students feel when they haven't done their homework.

2) Facing up to it

If my teacher had turned into a giant mouse, I would take a selfie with them and post it on Facebook to share with my friends. It would be funny if a really serious teacher became a big, cute mouse. I'd look at the photo to make me feel better whenever they punished me. Ha! Ha! Ha!

3) Lonely days

I would immediately inform the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department, because rodents carry diseases. It would be put into isolation and the story would make headlines. Most of all, I would feel so sorry for the teacher because she wouldn't be able to wear beautiful clothes. What a pity!

Chan Lok-hin, 13, Carmel Pak U Secondary School

4) Fun lessons

I would definitely give the teacher a lot of cheese to see whether he would gobble it up, just like the cartoon character Jerry. Then, we could enjoy a fantastic show from the "giant teacher" during lessons, which would be pretty entertaining.

5) What's the catch?

I would call all my friends who have a cat to come and catch the giant mouse. I would have to find a lot of cats to do the job. Although I wouldn't want to disrespect my teacher, I am very much afraid of mice. I hope my teacher would forgive me. After that, I would try to find out how to turn them back into a real person.

6) How's tricks?

For a start, I would be really surprised. After that, my classmates and I would play tricks on the teacher. We'd dress up as cats and the teacher would feel scared. We'd "meow" and the teacher would run like the wind. It would be very funny.

Hazel Yeung, 13, SKH Tsang Shiu Tim Secondary School

7) Huge problem

Most people would probably think of killing the mouse or calling pest control to get rid of teachers they hate, but to be honest, I would just pass out. I'm petrified of mice even though I've never really seen one. Cockroaches scare the living daylights out of me - let alone huge mice.

Tiffany Yip, 15, Heep Yunn School

8) Win-win situation

I'd give all of my zero-mark exam papers and textbooks for the mouse to nibble on. I wouldn't need to study any more if all my books were in its stomach. What a win-win result!

Brian To, 15, PLK Ho Yuk Ching 1984 College

9) No more homework

If my teacher had turned into a giant mouse, I'd definitely take advantage of their love for cheese to get rid of all the homework. Every time my teacher talked about homework, I'd bribe them with cheese. So at the end of the day we wouldn't have any homework to do.

Joy Pamnani, 17, PLK Ngan Po Ling College

10) Nose for good food

I would share my favourite blue cheese with him. I absolutely love cheese, so I would try to tempt him into telling me the secret of his transformation because I would love to have a mouse's sensitive nose and taste for cheese.

Michael Kwok, 14, Law Ting Pong Secondary School
