A LUXURY TRIP TO PARIS

Agent:      And now, I just need to go through some information about your upcoming trip to Paris, and I’ll send you an email later today with all the details.

Mr Lam:  Sure.

Agent:      The limousine will come and pick you up from your home address at 8pm, and the driver will give you a call when he is 10 minutes away. As per Air France’s regulations, you are allowed to check in two suitcases and one carry-on baggage. You can find the details on the airline’s website.

Mr Lam:  No problem. I will only need one suitcase for a ten-day trip.

Agent:      Sure. Can I confirm whether your phone number is 5986 2627?

Mr Lam:  Yes, that’s correct.

Agent:      Great. Your flight number is AF 185. The departure time is 11.30pm, and the flight duration is thirteen hours thirty minutes. The plane is expected to land at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport at 5.45am.

Agent:      We also received a note from your secretary that you are meeting a travel companion at the airport?

Mr Lam:  Right. I believe she has given you our passport and travel insurance details.

Agent:      Yes, I have them. Also, do remember to have a copy of your travel insurance documents with you during the trip.

Mr Lam:  Thanks for the reminder. What are our seat numbers?

Agent:      They are 33B and 33C. You’ve got the aisle seat.

Mr Lam:  Perfect!

Agent:      There will be a limousine waiting upon your arrival. Please make your way towards the exit sign once you’ve retrieved your luggage, and keep a lookout for the driver in the arrival hall. He will have a card with your name on it. I will include our contact number in Paris in the email, in case there is an emergency. We have also arranged an early check-in, and your personal tour guide will be with you the next day and throughout your trip.

Mr Lam:  That’s brilliant. Thanks for making these arrangements.

Agent:      It’s our pleasure, Mr Lam. We hope you have a wonderful holiday.
